Subject: Seeking Advice.. My DDs dress is satin (not twinkle), just under 1 year old. My concern is the way the dress is fitting. When it was new, it looked crisp, but now it can look “rumpled” through the bodice. It’s almost like the satin has “relaxed”, if that’s possible. Dress looks so much better when I pull down on the hem, but certainly can’t add weights to the hem : ) Is there a way to stablize the fabric at this point? Create a new firmer lining? Would adding boning help? Thx.

It may be too tight. Try the dress on but keep the zipper open. If it looks better it may need letting out. (NT).Monday, February 27, 02:57:43am

it sounds like the dw might need to be let out to allow it to easily fall over the hips... (NT)bgMonday, February 27, 06:55:28am
