Subject: Question on soft skirts. I know this will just be a general estimate - but about how many yards are required to make a soft skirt for a dress for a girl about size 12? I have a bunch of fabric and wonder if it would be enough. I know different styles of soft skirt would use different amounts. But if I could get an estimate or range, that would be helpful.

If you use the same color to cover the stabilizer, both inside and out (under side), I would think 3 yards or so if tiered and gathered or pleated. (NT)Anyone else?Thursday, March 08, 06:45:28pm
