Subject: I don't like the dress net as it's to stiff. I like the bridal tulle. Comes in 3mtrs wide so can work out not to bad in cost. I use about x3 double layers on a normal base and a frill.

In reply to: thanks, ladies! 's message, "I'm starting to get requests from clients for "Tutu" skirts like Elevation's. I haven't seen these up close. I do know they make small pleats in the tulle. Does anyone know any specifics? How many layers of tulle do they use? What grade of tulle? Also, is it attached to the skirt base in the same manner that one would attach a "skater" style skirt, or your basic gathered or pleated skirt?" on Thursday, April 10, 10:29:52am

There are so many different types of net and tulle. You really need to search for one of the right stiffness (not stiff, but not flimsy either) and which isn't going to tear easily either. I find skirts look much better if each layer is added separately, rather than gathering all the layers together. (NT)Well worth the extra effort.Sunday, April 13, 05:17:28pm
