Is it possible to make a school dress that costs around $75? I'm thinking a princess seamed dress with a contrast bottom band and a small motif on the bodice out of poly-poplin.

I don't think so. Even though it sounds like a simpler dress you still have to consider the costs; Fabric, digitizing, labor (NT)just my opinionThursday, August 14, 08:49:56am

If you really need to keep the budget that low, you could do skirts with plain white blouses: http://www.irishdanceskirts.com/ (NT)mpThursday, August 14, 05:15:18pm

I charge $120 for a dress like you describe. Labor is not cheap. You might find a ready to wear dress that would work and pay to add embroidery. (NT)BJ - www.irishseams.comWednesday, August 20, 06:17:56am

Maybe if you made a jumper. Some midwest schools use a jumper as the school dress for beginners (NT)Doesn't need as much tailoring to fit well.Saturday, August 30, 04:22:42pm
