Subject: Just curious...CS has a lot of heavy duty embroidery on their dresses. Why wouldn't they save machine time and do appliques? Beautiful dresses, but they must take ages to finish. Maybe it's just so they don't have to cut appliques..

I would rather have the machine running longer than have to stop and cut appliques. I would think that would be especially true if you have several machines running (NT)sndmTuesday, October 14, 12:56:10pm

Also, I'm pretty sure they rehoop in some form. And that would be worlds easier without applique (NT)sndmTuesday, October 14, 01:17:37pm

Yes, definitely must be much less hassle, and I suppose when they have several machines, it likely doesn't take that much longer to finish. I agree, I hate cutting appliques too... (NT)OPTuesday, October 14, 01:32:57pm
