Subject: Ya, isn't the puffy foam what's used for caps? I can't imagine costume embroidery being that puffy.

Puffy foam can be as thin as 2mm (.07 in) and as thick as 6mm or so. It could be foam in those videos. Even 2mm will add dimension. Not cheap as you have to buy the foam and make your satin stitch more dense to perforate it well. Adds to cost and time, so if they are using it, it is just another way to add interest and even exclusivity. because of price. (NT)*Wednesday, October 22, 11:20:37am
