Subject: I may need to have my dd's dress let down. Is there a rule of thumb for dropped waists? How many inches below the belly button can the top of the skirt be? The bodice doesn't come to a "V"; it's pretty straight across at the bottom.

I have found that the drop waist looks good when sitting right at the hip bones, however, it really depends on the individual measurements of the dancer and how long waisted the dancer is. (NT)CherMonday, July 21, 07:08:04pm
