Subject: No pattern--just 3 tiers of gathered fabric. The DD's mom made the organza petticoat she'll wear under it ( not present in the picture). Fabric (inside)

 Bodice triangle was a small piece of purple dupioni I had leftover from the first dress I ever made 8 yr. ago.
Skirt; green tier is a lining fabric that matched in color to the green silk in the bodice, purple tier is glitter dot like the sleeves, and the blue is a satin from Theatre House. The DD and her mom were very pleased "It is so light!"

For the $ conscious out there this may be a great way to get more mileage from a dress that has gotten too short but fits in the bodice. Also a way to get through pubescent growth spurts--tucks can be sewn in the tiers and let out as needed for those girls growing 3" every 6 months! (NT)LynnOHWednesday, July 23, 10:23:12am
