Subject Author Date Your dressmaker should tell you how much to buy. There are commercial patterns available for this style in the bridal/formal section of several pattern catalogs; that would give you some idea, then I'd add an extra yard to be safe. (NT) what I'd do Thursday, July 24, 09:12:00am you should definitely check with your dressmaker, but I would guess around 3 yards, and would buy 4 to be safe. just for the skirt, if the fabric is used on the bodice, add 1 yard, on the sleeves add another yard or yard and a half.
