- Does anyone else here have a Tajima? I only know others with Toyotas, and don't really know the difference. The machine is heavy (80kg?) so it would be better to have the dealer bring it to you, even if it costs a bit extra. Setup is easy though, and you don't really need any special lessons, just work it out as you go. You don't need anything other than the Bernina software; it does all I have ever needed to do, and is fine with the 1.2m X-Panto size, which some other programs don't cope with. - Oh this is good to know. I think once I get the Toyota price, I will let the husband do the negotiating and go with the best deal. (NT) -- Trish, Thursday, December 08, 04:46:25pm
- My Toyota does 700 stitches/minute with the X-Panto frame, and that's plenty fast enough when sewing on sequins etc. (NT) -- !, Thursday, December 08, 05:14:42pm
- Thats about what the Tajima does, its not bad, I'm just impatient! (NT) -- --, Thursday, December 08, 06:53:22pm
- So, it sounds as though it's 6 one way, half dozen the other? You all are so helpful. I feel like the dealers are trying to talk me out of the X-panto. ??? (more) -- Trish, Thursday, December 08, 07:30:51pm
