There is no rule. If the bodice is symetric, I center the clip. If it is a symetric, I let the design dictate, but usually chose the left side (NT)Does the owner have a preference?Friday, February 10, 04:15:56pm

Most often seen on the right side of the dress (NT).Friday, February 10, 06:06:07pm

On my dress there is a slight imperfection on the left side of the waist line embroidery. Only visible when you really look for it, but I put the number clip there (I have 2 BTW so the number doesn't flop) so the number covers the imperfection. (NT)No rules it would seemSaturday, February 11, 04:52:16am

As a dressmaker, I recommend putting the number clip where it will be the least likely for the number card to cover up the design. This is usually to one side or the other. (NT)SDMSaturday, February 11, 09:56:13am
