Subject: But it isn't the same amount of embroidery and same amount of crystals. Each seam on an 8yr dress is quicker to cut and sew as it is so much shorter than for an 18yr dress. Less embroidery, less crystals, less fabric. Cannot understand why you would want to charge the same price? I can make 2 8yr dresses in the time it takes me for one 18yr dress

In reply to: Just curious 's message, "If the amount of crystals and embroidery are the same, why would you charge less just because of age? Isn't that age discrimination? ;-) But seriously, if the work is the same what would be the reason for a discount?" on Thursday, February 20, 10:59:06pm

Unless you are handsewing, the time it takes to sew a 5 inch seam versus a 10 inch should only be a few seconds. Even cutting is only going to take an extra minute (maybe) for the longer seam. Not enough to impact an hourly wage. (NT)mpFriday, February 21, 07:32:17am

"Cannot understand why you would want to charge the same price?" - I do not understand this statement. How can anyone in business not undersand why you would want to charge a reasonable amount for your labor? (NT)..Friday, February 21, 09:09:04am
