Subject: I draw quickly, I suppose I have art classes to thank for that? Also, I fold the tracing paper in half so I only draw half the design, then trace the other side so its symmetrical

In reply to: What am I missing...?? 's message, "How are the new dress shops getting their artwork drawn, digitized and embroidered so fast! I have software, a big machine and occasionally have a helper. But how are they pumping them out so fast?? Not talking about those with a staff of 10-20, but those with 2 or 3..... Are they sketching or drawing directly into their programs? Even with a helper, getting your artwork from your initial idea to the embroidery machine takes time. I'm clearly missing a large piece of the puzzle..stumped!" on Friday, March 21, 02:31:05pm

What is the max speed for those of you using the large extension table on Tajima's or Toyota machines? Mine is 700rpms I believe? Is there a way to have it set faster as though you were using a smaller hoop with higher rpms? (NT)??Sunday, March 23, 08:53:45am

My Toyota will go up to something like 1100, but I rarely set it over 600 or 700. Above that and it starts to shake and shimmy and I fear it will get damaged. It sits on carpet on the second floor, maybe I don't have it stable enough. (NT).Sunday, March 23, 11:38:38am

700 is the max for the X-Panto frame. It will go faster with smaller frames, like the border frame (NT).Sunday, March 23, 12:18:30pm

The tech who set mine up did everything he could think of to get the machine to go above 700 with the x-panto frame but could not find a way around it. I would LOVE to have two machines going, one with the x-panto & one with a border frame, but don't have space right now. (NT)Someday...Sunday, March 23, 01:32:55pm

Ok then, that's that sorted! LOL No hope in getting the machine to pick up the pace a little. Glad I asked, now we know ;) (NT)::))Sunday, March 23, 08:46:51pm
