Subject: Hoping for feedback from those of you that may have used Swarovski zippers. Have you had any complaints from clients about how well they work/ hold up over time?

I'm making my daughter's dress and was considering using one, but not if they are a pain to open and close, or separate under tension.

I am also curious. With trend towards interesting back designs on dresses, I've been thinking that a rhinestone zipper would be pretty but also worry about longevity. I'd give it a shot my own kid, but not an a random client! (NT)--Friday, April 25, 01:36:11pm

I used one and liked it. It does require more care to close. When it was time to sell the dress, I decided to replace it with a common zipper. I may use the old one in an upcoming dress design. Considering the minimal amount of time a dancer spends with their back to the audience, I'd be more inclined to spend the extra on individual crystals than dealing with the fuss of a fancy zip. (NT)just me though.Monday, April 28, 12:40:19pm
