Tell your dressmaker what you like and dislike, colour wise and style. I always give my customers 3 designs to choose from and have them sign the design they choose. So , I never have any problems after the dress is finished about that. Don't mail or call your dressmaker every day about how the work progresses, this way she has to spend time answering you, instead of working on your dress. She"ll also gets fed up with you. Most dressmakers will keep you up to date about the whole process, when neccecary. Trust your dressmaker, but ask about her work and dealing with clients before you commission the dress to her. If she made other beautiful dresses before, yours will turn out fine too. Good luck with your new dress.
