Subject: If you are just starting to make these costumes, I would wait on investing in a digitized machine. Getting a well fit dress is probably the most difficult part of these costumes. Work on the fit first then move on to the expensive machine. Many dm's make beautiful dresses without digitized embroidery.

good luck

My advice would be to make at least 10 off the rack dresses, see if you can sell them (but don't reckon on higher prices till you can make them fit well and look right). Work out your costs and timings per dress and see if you can make it profitable. Then decide if you want to really take the business further. (NT)It is much harder than it appearsTuesday, May 27, 05:27:12am
