Subject: I use dry cleaner bags as the "topper" (there is a product made specifically for this purpose), and try different needles. Some types of sequin prefer a thin size 10 needle, some prefer the fat 16. I like a microtex needle (instead of universal or topstitch) and using a walking foot.

In reply to: NU2 sequins 's message, "Sewing sequinned material - I know this has been asked before , I thought that it was in the FAQ section but can't locate it. How do you sew heavily sequinned material without breaking needles? I think it somehow involved drycleaners bags or something any advice most appreciated!" on Sunday, July 06, 04:45:23am
