what is the best way to make the underskirt of the new type of two piece dresses. I plan to make a separate top and need a two layer full underskirt. I have a scalloped edge material and need to know if I make a separate full circlular skirt without the scallop and then stitch on the scallop again or can I make it with the scalloped edge. Please use basic terms as I really am not got on technical ones

Thanks

I have done it two ways. One is to make it atraight with no curve. The other was to make the circle part in satin, then sewthe scallop onto the bottom edge and pleat it onto the top edge. (NT)Hope this helpsWednesday, August 05, 10:10:02pm
