Subject: Yup, it's SLIM pickings. Sew-Fisticated in Dorchester or Somerville/Cambridge is pretty good choice. If you're looking for lace, I would recommend Vans on Beach Street in Chinatown. Winmil on Chauncy Street may or may not have some finds, but it's definitely hit or miss (more often miss) I totally miss North End Fabrics - that place was phenomenal!
