In reply to: thanks! 's message, "So I made dd a new dress for the O's but couldn't get it finished in time to test drive it at a local feis. Disaster! I edged the solid black, soft flowy skater style velvet skirt in a row of 48 crystals and she jingled like a belly dancer! So I pulled off all those crystals and now the skirt is boring and bare. I'm thinking of replacing it with a double row rhinestone chain. Do you think that will jingle just as much? I've never worked with it so I don't know how stiff it is." on Wednesday, December 11, 11:30:08am

instead of a full row, try spacing the stones an inch or so apart - I did that on my dd's dress, and no jingle. Still very sparkly. (NT)hthWednesday, December 11, 06:51:37pm
