Hello, I was hoping someone could help me. I'm a dancer who makes her own solo dresses, and I'd REALLY like to make one of the tulle skirts that I've seen on a lot of Celtic Star dresses lately. However, I'm unsure of how to go about making one...I haven't been able to look at one up close, despite looking for them everywhere at Oireachtas. I know there's a stiffened skirt with a layer of tulle on top. If anyone could help me figure out the construction, that would be awesome! Thank you! :)

Not an expert but I do know that they also have a layer of satin between tulle and stiffener. Also, it is the "crisp" tulle and there is usually 3-4 layers. You can make it long and then cut the bottom curve when completed. (NT)hope that helpsSaturday, December 21, 06:51:28pm

I use the normal stiffened underpanels, a layer of satin, and several layers of soft tulle depending on the colour and size of skirt (NT).Saturday, December 28, 03:04:49am

I have a dress that needs an updated look. How much do you think it would cost to have a tulle skirt to replace the current one? (NT)--Wednesday, January 01, 11:36:33pm
