Subject: Good digitizing takes time. I see so much bad embroidery on dresses nowadays, even on the so called BNDM dresses. Sloppy, choppy, illogical embroidery is a sign of either working too fast, using the auto digitize button, or just really not having the eye necessary for digitizing clean and clear embroidery.

In reply to: Anyone else take a long time? 's message, "How long does it typically take you to digitize a full dress design. Let's say a championship, heavily emroidered/appliqued dress. It can take me up to two full 8 hour days. Is this normal? I feel it's taking a lot longer than necessary and I may need to consider outsourcing some digitizing." on Wednesday, February 12, 06:23:41pm

But it doesn't take two or more days for one dress, once you are experienced. I've never used the auto digitise button, wouldn't know what it does, but my embroidery is certainly not messy or sloppy, and I can do a whole dress in a few hours. Maybe I've just had plenty of practise (NT)!Thursday, February 13, 03:06:49am
