Starting a search for an experienced seamstress to help out with a little of the grunt work. Anyone have any ideas on a going rate for helpers?? Cutting/sizing bodices, sewing skirt ruffles etc.

Any advice greatly appreciated. :)

What I have done in the past is this.....I make the piece with all the steps I want them to do and figure out how long it takes me....more......Friday, February 14, 09:39:08pm

I have often wanted to try to find some help with the sewing, but I don't know where to look. Where do you all go to find people to do this hourly work? (NT)Thanks.Saturday, February 15, 10:04:11am

I would be very interested in being someone's assistant sewer. Business is slow right now and due to changing life situations at home, I need to up my income to be able to support myself. The job market in my area is not too good right now and I'd rather continue working from home. (NT)Pennie in MichiganMonday, February 17, 03:16:19pm
