| Subject: I listed a Very unfinished project on ebay wherein I was redoing an used dress with other salvage pieces...I tried to express in the post that an expeienced seamstress would need to undertake this task but I'm concerned that people think that this is an easier task than it is... inside is my resopnse to one of the questions from a buyer...please tell me what y'all think I need to add... |

Hi...I'm not sure I understand what you mean by missing parts :) This is a very rough, first gathering together of much of what I intended to use to redo the dress...All of the pieces [meaning EVERYTHING bodice, sleeves, skirt really... EVERYTHING will have to be sized properly, cut and sewn to fit together, lined so that it will have the proper stabilization to stand up to dancing :) etc, etc :)] The pieces will NOT just fit together they will need to be signficantly adjusted and sized/sewn properly....This is all a significant task...Also as noted the original dress is in used condition so there is wear which will affect the "putting it all together process" ... Sorry, if this sounds off-putting, and really, this is not just in response to just your question (so I'm very sorry if you already understood this) but others who have similarly inquired...This is not like dress kit that readily fits together. It will require significant work and knowledge of sewing...I'm copying this to the ebay post...Hope this explanation helps/and or answers your question...Take care :)
