Subject: I have used stretch velvet to cover headbands and simply sew a tube with 1 open end, roll the tube onto the padded headband and smooth the fabric in place. All you need to do then is handstitch the open end closed. It helps to stitch in the elastic loops first with the machine so there are attachments for the dancer to use for her pins.
