Subject: Thinking about this a little more, there should be no reason you can't achieve a snug, attractive fit with a non-stretch bodice. Corsets, wedding dresses, and period costumes are all tight fitting and rarely stretchy...its definitely a lot of fitting work, but its doable.

I was thinking a two-piece might be the best solution at this point. Would an elastic waistband really just do the trick? I haven't looked closely at any two-pieces to see how they are done. (NT)lbrownFriday, July 03, 06:46:25pm

It would probably be the easiest! I don't think plain elastic would be sturdy enough, but a good structured waistband (2-3" wide) should work. My only concern would be the skirt twisting. Anyone have any experience with this? (NT)=)Friday, July 03, 06:59:08pm
