[ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: Wednesday, November 04, 02:08:53pm I was asked to take off on old skirt, replace it with a bubble skirt (obviously I had to draft a pattern and figure it out myself)& re-stone the dress. THEN all of the sudden they wanted the entire bodice tailored (the hang changed when the heavy skirt was replaced with a light one), cape, and headband. This has been a huge pain and is taking forever! How much should I charge for this? I havn't been able to keep track of my hours - it is taking all of my time though. Any suggestions? Thanks so much! Likely $500-700, It's a huge pain to do this and no one has any idea how much brain damage goes into it. I only charge $10-15 per hour for alterations to my dresses by at least $25 for others (even more for BN's). (NT) Good luck. People don't understand that but it's not your problem. Be sure to charge for the hours you put in.
