I wish to purchase/invest in a new sewing machine for my daughter who makes dancing dresses. She's up to date with the styles etc, so I need to make sure I purchase one that can handle it all...........sewing, embroidery, applique...etc, etc. As I have no clue what she has at the moment, we live in different towns, I was hoping some of you could let me know what your favourite machine is or what your dream machine is. My newest model is about 9-10 years old. It is a 7570 model that does regular sewing and has an embroidery unti for computerized hoop embroidery. I think I may have been taken for almost $3000 for a Viking Designer SE. After paying thru paypal, the seller is no longer available to email me and the phone # she provided is not in service. UGH.
