In reply to: Hope that helps 's message, "Same frame as panel skirt, still use side pleats. I did vilene with tulle under, layer of satin + 2 x layers of tulle over the top." on Tuesday, August 06, 06:13:26am

So is the Vilene attached at the sides, have you added in a pleat at the side seams or is it full circle of Vilene? So just to clarify you have Vilene then tulle then satin then tulle again? Also what weight Vilene are you using?

Three pieces of vilene, front panel with pleats at the side, which is then sewn to the back panels. Pleats tuck in front of hips for kicks. Vilene is only a few inches long then attach tulle at bottom to make length of skirt. Then full layer of satin + full layer of tulle over. N (NT)Not sure about type of vilene sorryWednesday, August 07, 12:37:25am
