I JUST found that info about it being the same with fewer needles. I know the 9100 is ideal for solo dresses but I'd like to start with something smaller. I currently have a home sewing/embroidery machine with a 6x10 hoop and I'd like a reasonably priced upgrade that can get most of a bodice in one hoop. My current dress took 9 hoops for the front of the bodice. Ridiculous! :) Do you guys have any input about whether any of these would be a good starting place or a waste of money?
