Subject: Can anyone help with machine applique? My machine can do it but i'm not sure of the steps to follow when doing applique for celtic designs like celtic knot work and so on. Can anyone talk me through it please. Are you better off to draw the design out and then do it by hand or follow all the steps for machine applique?

It would be helpful if you said which machine and which software. (NT)meThursday, August 15, 10:58:29am

I digitise everything, including a straight stitch to tack down the applique fabric and outline the design first, then cut around it, and then satin stitch around it again to finish it off. Digitised embroidery usually looks much neater unless (NT)you are very experienced at embroidery by hand.Saturday, August 17, 02:58:16am
