In reply to: a mom 's message, "Is there some other kind of sparkly fabric that can be used for dresses that is not sequin? Looking for sparkle, but without having an issue with sequins rubbing" on Tuesday, October 01, 08:25:45am

A decent satin with lots of rhinestones looks equally up-to-date, with less wear and tear. The 2mm sequins are really nice, much less rubbing/catching. Lycra is ok in applique, but (imho) looks dated in large sections (skirt/bodice main fabric). Glitter velvet/satin can be pretty. (NT)--Wednesday, October 02, 08:45:15am
