Subject: Oh Thank you Trish! So I understand how I can scale my design once it's in there. But I guess my problem is, how do I get it in there?? Are you drawing your design smaller so that the entire design fits in your scanner? Sorry if this is a really simple thing that I'm over thinking....

In reply to: Trish 's message, "I use V6 Bernina and scan in the entire thing. You can pick your hoop, or add one or not even show one. Then use the magnify tool to size up or down on your screen. You can set your grid to whatever measurement you want so you can scale your design that way. And the measure feature is something I use all the time (more)" on Sunday, March 25, 08:32:39pm

Honestly, I take a picture with my phone and email it to myself. Then I add that file and digitize. I also do this method for pattern pieces for alignment. Do this in art canvas. (NT)TrishMonday, March 26, 07:52:14pm
