Subject: The fact that you know this much is awesome!!! I've managed to find the BAK file (in Program Files, I don't have Program Files x86). Copied and pasted in a safe file as an ART60 file. When I open in V6 software I'm getting the message inside. Thank you so much for getting me this far! Author: help! Subject Author Date Sometimes when my software has crashed (it usually means it is simply time to shut my computer down and then restart it to let it do what it should with memory and updates, etc...magic), and then I re-open my software again and re-try. I would also try to just change the file extension to .ART. The newer software can open all of the previous versions. Let me know as I am interested. Also delete any copies of things that pop up when you restart after a crash and then shut it down yourself. When you start over, the digitizing screen should be empty when the software starts again.
