 Sent an off-the-rack dress to buyer. Accepted a reduced price and agreed to pay shipping. Didn't fit (not surprised) so it's coming back. Now the dress is coming back should I still be on the hook for the shipping? If it had sold I would have looked at it as just being part of selling the dress at a lower price, but if I refund the full amount I'm out the shipping costs and still haven't sold the dress. Can see it both ways so would appreciate unbiased views.

No. You should not pay for shipping to allow someone to try on the dress. Purchasing the dress is different. There are furniture stores that offer free shipping when you make a purchase, but Iif you choose to return the furniture, you would be responsible for the return shipping.You are a small businessWednesday, July 25, 09:23:29pm
