Can anyone help with box pleating? The pattern pieces curve and I cannot get the edges of my "boxes" straight. The first few are fine, then as the pattern piece curves, the boxes no longer work. Since the upper curve is smaller than the lower curve this makes sense, but I can't correct it. Don't know what I'm missing here.

Hello. could you post a link to the style of skirt you are making, dressmakers all make them differently, I'm sure you will find advice on here :) (NT)dmSaturday, April 09, 09:21:20am

We had to stop looking at the skirt up close the measurements for folding couldn't be exact. The spacing looked fine at a bit of a distance. (NT)Good luck!Saturday, April 09, 11:27:01am
