Subject: Iron-on Vinyl on costumes

I'm sure many of you have noted the new rising star school costume budget option- $450/dress.
They appear to have their designs applied with iron on vinyl instead of embroidery.

Do you think it would be possible to do a prizewinner level solo dress with final instead of embroidery? I have a vinyl cutting machine and have designed T-shirt appliqué using iron on vinyl.

Not sure how they would sell. I my region, most prizewinners are wearing 2-3 year old champ dresses with all the bling. (NT)**Tuesday, April 19, 09:56:30am

Try making an off the rack dress, and you'll soon find out if it is worthwhile or not. My guess is people still want the full embroidery and bing, just maybe a little less or a little older dress for lower levels. (NT)But try it and see!Tuesday, April 19, 04:39:30pm

Doesn't Riising Star have a few team dresses done in vinyl? They look sharp. (NT)worth a tryWednesday, April 20, 07:34:28am
