Does anyone know what is the thickness of the invisible thread that some dressmakers are using? The regular .004 is not thick enough.
Thank you.

Does anyone still use this? I thought it could stretch and break. Better to use matching coloured thread and change threads when neccesary (NT)?Thursday, May 04, 04:44:27pm

Elevation and Rising Star too. It is a pain with multiple colors or complicated design (NT)especially by the zipper.Friday, May 05, 07:34:10am

I never use invisible thread, because it snaps so easily. I have worked on many a Gavin where the invisible thread just broke and either the collar is coming off the dress or the seam just split open. And it also bothers the dancer if there is any little end sticking out. (NT)..Sunday, May 07, 10:10:24am
