You have to find a pattern that best fits a dancer and then alter it to accommodate the dancers body type and to accommodate the type of skirt that she wants. you have to further adjust the pattern to accommodate the bulk of the skirt. The fact that the styles are constantly changing presents a whole different set of challenges.
