Subject: Yes, he is using a broadcloth or some kind of non stretchable fabric to embroider through but it is not fused to the main fabric, more

I never paid attention before but the three dresses I have now definitely don't have any fused interfacing. I just opened the lining in my daughters Rising Star too, no fusing.

I've been doing that for the twinkle satin. I use broadcloth (nothing fused to it) to embroider through, but I would line up the dress with muslin to cover stitches. It is not perfect, some puckering, but not much more than you could see on some of the BNDM's dresses.
