Sorry but we still make little money as it is. If you see how many hours are involved in designing and making a dress... And I'm not talking about the time spent looking for the right fabrics...Nobody in his/her right mind would work for the money we get per hour. I tell clients to safe up. It's hard but we can't work for free.

I can relate - it's tough times for everyone, you included. You shouldn't be asked, let alone be expected, to knock your price down, particularly when there are SO MANY SECOND HAND DRESSES available. Let the penny pinchers bargain with someone who needs to sell a dress. You don't need that headache, especially when it could only end up in resentment for the future. Be fair, but be firm! And remember, NO. is a complete sentence, without any need for explanation or justification. (NT)Good Luck.Monday, June 22, 03:47:29pm

Not a DM, but I like that and will remember it. NO. is a complete sentence. (NT)<>Monday, June 22, 04:13:06pm
