Subject: LA fabrics. I know people have talked about Levines for some lovely fabrics. Is there an actual fabric district? Are there particular streets that house fabric stores? Any help is appreciated. Can't wait for Oireachtas and a side trip to shop!

Hi Terri! Yes there is a whole district of fabric stores. Everything converges at the intersection of 9th & Maple. Lots to see but be prepared to walk a lot and spend time poking around. (NT):) CherThursday, June 09, 09:40:07am

Terri, to me it's worth the money to park at Michael Levine's and walk from there through the surrounding streets. Levine's will validate to cover an hour of parking. They've done more than an hour for me when I made a large purchase for team dresses. Rhinestones--right out of Michael Levine's, cross 9th and go most of way down block.
