thank you in advance.

Currently to transport my design to the software, I'm drawing a life size version of my design, marking a 2 inch reference point, taking a picture of the full design, importing it to my software then expanding the picture till the 2 inch reference point measures up with my grid lines.

I'm not using the built in Corel page included in the software and I think I could be using my time more efficiently if I was. I'm on the hunt for a few helpful tutorials that are somewhat more specific to our line of work than just creating regular embroidery for cushions etc. I realize I'm not using the software to it's fullest potential.

Not looking for all the answers here, but maybe one or two of you have found helpful tutorials for Corel within V6. Obviously our dresses are much larger than a drawing tablet, but is it possible to use one of these when using this software?

Again, not looking for people to give up info they've worked hard to find. I have no problem searching around too, just hoping that a few of you may have found helpful sites that you don't mind sharing.

Have you contacted the Bernina dealer where you got your machine as they should have the answer to your question. (NT)id momFriday, April 05, 06:37:04am

I'm the original poster from March 10. When calling around I found some of the dealers had classes, and one will give a one on one class for an hourly rate. (NT)sndmFriday, April 05, 07:40:54am

Done! Bought my software from a different city, but am waiting to hear back from someone who may be able to help with my specific needs in my hometown. (NT)Thanks ladies:)Friday, April 05, 12:18:26pm

I'd like to improve my skills as well with the Corel portion of the software. I guess I'm a bit intimidated. (NT)Small Western Canadian DMFriday, April 05, 08:54:30pm

How long does it take people to digitize with and/or without corel? Using the method above it takes me a good day of going cross eyed to finish a dress. Typically with embroidery on mid/upper bodice, back and full sleeves. Then usually a few fix ups with fresh eyes the next day. Is this normal for others? (NT)kdTuesday, April 09, 05:54:21pm
