Sequined appliqués should guide satin stitch by hand, or digitize and try embroidery machine, not used sequins for years and made a dress since last year, should I make patches or straight onto bodice and sleeves?
Thanks so much,

I digitise everything now, much neater, easier and more professional looking (NT)!Monday, April 15, 09:39:57pm

Don't forget to use a topper over the applique. Your eyes will thank you for the protection from the flying sequins! (NT)LynnOHTuesday, April 16, 11:04:23pm

I increase the density of the satin stitch slightly when working with sequins also. (NT)kdWednesday, April 17, 08:29:09am

I would second the suggestions to use a topper and increase stitch density. I just altered a "BNDM" sequinned dress that obviously didn't have a topper or denser stitches. The satin stitching looked ragged and messy. (NT)BJWednesday, April 24, 03:14:17pm
