Subject: So if you are trying to make it stop stretching, why buy stretch velvet in the first place? Sorry if that is a stupid question.

Not a stupid question. Sometimes the particular color is only available in stretch, or the dm loves the texture of the stretch. (NT)some circumstancesWednesday, May 27, 08:31:44am

Stretch velvet is also quite durable-I've used it to make leotards for years and run them through the washer and dryer. (NT)dmWednesday, May 27, 10:43:00am

Also the stretch velvets are easier to work with than the silk velvets and don't show pin holes and basting holes so easily. (NT)works for me!Wednesday, May 27, 09:10:40pm
