Any opinions??? Also is there a person out there who digitizes. I'm trying to figure out everything (boy scout parent in me) to be prepared. I know it will take time to learn everything. Hopefully my embroider doesn't quit for awhile. Then she may not who knows. Please e-mail if you like. I'm sure I will have a lot more questions. The machine will be doing my garment bags. Subject Author Date I have a Happy Voyager and I love it. Really reliable and a beautiful stitch. The max hoop though is 12x12 which probably would be just fine. Check out the quick snap hoops too. Plus, it's easier to add memory and speed to a desktop. (NT) -- me, Saturday, June 25, 12:18:24am I don't know which embroidery software you will be using, but the Happy software, stitch and sew and Bernina (the ones i have) all are Windows only. I've moved machines around my sewing room several times to accomodate growth of my business and expansion of the machines. I've been glad to have a laptop as periodically I've had to move the computer too. My laptop has always been sufficient for the software and memory I need for designing.
