Subject: If you are a championship level Sr. dancer, then glitterball is not a good choice. Dresses at this level are combinations of velvet, sewn sequin, and twinkle satin. A budget conscious choice would be getting a newer second hand dress with a dropped waist. You can usually find one in the $400 - $900 range. If your old dress has sentimental meaning, you might be able to salvage some of the applique to add to a new dress.
