Subject: Does anyone know what fabric Gavin uses to line his bodices? It seems to be a woven cotton, but much heavier than standard muslin. I've not seen anything like it in US fabric stores.

Maybe a broadcloth or duck cloth?? I too use something heavier than muslin that I found at either Hancock or JoAnn fabrics. (NT)LynnToledoThursday, February 14, 08:29:34am

All the dresses I have seen donít have lining! He is one of the few that doesnít line his dresses, Maybe the mum put it in. (NT)dmThursday, February 14, 03:54:44pm

The Gavin dresses I've seen are piece lined, not bag lined. Easier to alter. (NT)Better that way.Thursday, February 14, 07:35:19pm

It looks like a drapery lining. (NT)soft sateenFriday, February 15, 08:19:40am

Roclon drapery lining is really nice. Gavin uses something similar. It's a nice tight weave with a nice sheen. (NT)54" wideFriday, February 22, 01:46:00pm
