Subject: So what's the latest trend for bling? I already put great big pear-shaped crystals on the belt and around neckline of a new dress I'm finishing for DD. I also placed large round crystals on the applique. Should I outline the applique with small crystals? How small? I don't want the design to look unbalanced, but don't want to outline in something too large, either.

DD is in PC. Thanks!

You cannot go wrong with ss40, the more the better (NT)!Monday, March 11, 02:26:40am

I don't see as many outline stones at the moment, but I do think the partial outlines that go from large to small stones are very pretty and accent the embroidery nicely. (NT).02Monday, March 11, 02:27:28pm

I always assumed big stones were used because they cost more and are faster to put on. (NT)Small stones drive me crazy.Thursday, March 14, 08:13:24am
