Subject: I don't see as many outline stones at the moment, but I do think the partial outlines that go from large to small stones are very pretty and accent the embroidery nicely.

In reply to: DD is in PC. Thanks! 's message, "So what's the latest trend for bling? I already put great big pear-shaped crystals on the belt and around neckline of a new dress I'm finishing for DD. I also placed large round crystals on the applique. Should I outline the applique with small crystals? How small? I don't want the design to look unbalanced, but don't want to outline in something too large, either." on Sunday, March 10, 08:49:43pm

Gavin usually uses all big, but we accented what they put on with lots of small. When we showed it to them, they loved the effect! Small stones done well can really complement the big ones and accentuate the design. It's more work, but worth the effort. (NT)my opinionTuesday, March 12, 07:28:50am
